Tobias Thomas, born 1970, is a member of the Kompakt-family since the very early days. He is working as a dj since 1990, was involved in many co-operations & projects like Forever Sweet, Thomas/Mayer and did a number of remixes alongside Dettinger, Superpitcher, M.Mayer and Reinhard Voigt. As an editor for the German music magazine Spex, he’s done interviews with Sven Väth, Pet Shop Boys, Westbam, Depeche Mode, Wolfgang Tillmans, Justin Timberlake and many others. Since 1998 he is hosting the weekly “Total Confusion” night with Michael Mayer and SuperPitcher in the famous Studio 672 club in Cologne. And of course doing several more residents all over Europe. As a dj he has played in more than twenty metropols, from Buenos Aires to Paris, from New York to Istanbul. Also in summer 2003 Tobias Thomas did tour in Japan. He has released two mix-cds “Smallville” and “Fuer Dich” and an album “Geben&Nehmen” (with Forever Sweet).
