Two-day series of workshops is organized in co-operation with MediaLab (www.martu.org) and will involve people from Estonia and abroad, video and sound artists along with semioticians and media theorists. In workshops the possibilities, technique and process of video art are introduced, the participants are acquainted to the background of the VJ-world and the instruments of sensor art. The workshops include theoretical lectures by semioticians and media theorists who talk about the major ideas and theories of media era, about the future, relations and problems between technology and society. Focus is on foreign performers who bring along their views and competence outside art- borders of Estonia. Workshops are partially combined with the art events of Plektrum.
