Every city ha sits acoustics and everyone has its own city The pedestrian tunnel in Viru center will take citizens of Tallinn for few moments to Hong Kong: to the metro stations, cafes, streets, karaoke bars Ð in the middle of Hong Kong people, cars and houses. The sounds of Hong Kong have been recorded by their young people. It is their feeling of their city that is presented through these selected recordings of city acoustics. The sounds are presented here in Tallinn by the students of Estonian Academy of Arts. Hong Kong seems so distant and enormous city, the top presentation of the real urban culture. Project Tunnel to east brings this distant and foreign city space here in the middle of our city.

“Tunnel to east” takes place in pedestrian tunnel on Friday 8:00-10:00 and 17:00-19:00, on Saturday 11:00-13:00.
